Newlands College reports are electronically viewed through the parent portal. There are two different types of electronic reports:

• An Engagement Report is sent every fortnight. This is a simple report with a three point scale for each subject. The purpose of this report is to monitor participation in lessons and the completion of classwork and homework. The criteria and grading used are set out on the report. These reports are published on the parent portal.
• The Academic Progress Report shows achievement in tests and assessments which are completed during the year with comments from each subject teacher. Academic progress is updated throughout the year on the parent portal as assessments and milestone targets are reached.
