BACKGROUND

Newlands has participated in the Theatre Fest One Act Play competition a number of times. The plays are open to anyone to join but commitment is key. If we get through the local competition we go to the regional final that is scheduled later in Term 3 with the finals scheduled in mid to late September.

Working on a play is a great way to develop friendships and a shared vision.

REHEARSAL 

Once a week in Term 2 with a long weekend and possible additional days closer to the performance date.
