Our Pou Rangatahi and Pou Aoraki lead and inspire a strong group of empowered rangatahi. They create meaningful opportunities for our mokopuna and ngākau Māori to connect with and celebrate Māoritanga at Te Kāreti o Horokiwi.
Throughout the year they lead a range of kaupapa, including professional learning, cultural initiatives, and hui whānau, helping to strengthen connection, identity, and belonging within our school community. Their role is centred on uplifting and representing the voice of Māori rangatahi across Newlands College.
