Newlands College is a modern, well-equipped facility with 50 acres of grounds. Located in the suburb of Newlands, just 10 minutes from the city centre, the school features specialist learning areas, extensive sports grounds, gardens, and a large recreation centre. Ongoing development ensures high-quality environments that support both learning and co-curricular activities.
The new artificial turf at Newlands College is a multipurpose surface suitable for a variety of sports, including Football, Futsal, Hockey, Netball and Tennis. The turf is fully floodlit, enabling evening training.

The artificial turf is open for hire to the public on both weekdays and on weekends that are suitable. We welcome local schools and clubs utilising the facility for training, games and tournaments. Email sport@newlands.school.nz to make a booking request.
