Step 1 – Apply Online
All enrolments are completed online.
In-zone applications can be submitted at any time.
Step 2 – Confirmation
Once your application is received, you will be sent instructions to complete the enrolment process. A confirmation email will be issued once all required documents have been successfully submitted.
Step 3 – Optional Interview
If your student has specific learning needs or you would like to share additional information, you are welcome to request an interview with relevant staff, including a member of the Senior Leadership Team, Head of Learning Support, Year 9 Dean, Guidance Counsellor, Enrichment Dean or Pou Manaaki. Please contact our Enrolment Officer to do so at newcol@newlands.school.nz.
Step 4 – Starting School
Year 9 students will receive key information about transition, including an orientation morning in November and the Peer Support Camp in February. For students in other year levels, the relevant Dean will be in touch to arrange subject selection and a start date.
