Nominations

Our 2026 Celebration of Sport is held in Term 4 each year, with students and teams being acknowledged for their sporting achievements.

To nominate your child, please fill out the form below, particularly if they’ve been selected for a Local, Regional or National Representative sports team.

How it works

 

  • Students will not be acknowledged for club based activities and for private academies
  • The nomination period for these awards are from Term 4 of the previous year to Term 3 of the current year
  • It can be filled out multiple times if your child is selected for different teams throughout the year
  • This form must be filled out before Monday 24 August 2026 to be considered for our Premier Awards and for students to be acknowledged at our Celebration of Sport
  • The Representation form is for students who have been selected to represent Wellington, North Island (or other provincial based areas) or a national team. This does not include playing for a Newlands College sports team I.E Newlands Snr A Boys Basketball or being part of a Wellington based club I.E Porirua Canoe Kayak Club
