The college runs a vibrant and extensive Arts programme. The Visual Arts are based in a purpose built suite of rooms. Painting, printmaking, design and photography are popular options with students. The Performing Arts are well represented
in the fields of music, drama and kapa haka. All three of these disciplines are taught as NCEA subjects but they also have substantial co-curricular programmes. Hardly a week goes by without there being a performance of some sort related either to classroom programmes or co-curricular activities.
